Chocolate kiss cookies

Two things I love. Chocolate chip cookies and Hershey's kisses. Why wouldn't these taste amazing????

My standard chocolate chip cookie recipe: as adapted from the classic toll house recipe

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 12oz bag milk chocolate chips

Melt the butter in a large microwave safe bowl for 45 seconds at 1/2 (5) power. (this gives it a room temp softness). Cream the butter and sugars. Add the eggs and mix. Then add the vanilla.
Add 1 1/4 cups of the flour and 1/2 tsp of the baking soda. Mix. Add the remaining 1 cup of flour and 1/2 tsp of baking soda. Mix. Mix in the chocolate chips

For this recipe, unwrap 36 kisses. Get a tablespoon of batter and roll into a ball. Push the kiss into the center of the ball and cover with the batter. Put on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-11 min.

The only thing that my cookies didn't do was get gooey in the center. But who cares? They taste so good!!!
