Braid covered hair

My daughters hair is much longer than mine so I can try these fun ideas on her (when she's in the right frame if mind!).

I was able to do this style as we were walking out the door on the way to camp. She loved it. I did end up using two rubber bands. One for the initial pony tail and the other to keep the braid in place. I didn't think bobby pins would hold up with an active 7 year old.
